I just wanted to share some great news with you. If you remember our story, we did a number of IUIs and IVFs over the past few years. They all failed and doctors did not seem to have an explanation for it. My husband and I met with you last October and by December I was pregnant. On August 11th we welcomed a beautiful very healthy happy little boy! We named him A. R. We thank you for making our dream come true. I had never had very regular periods, but at age 26 , my periods stopped altogether. I went through two injectable cycles, one IUI and the other IVF, it was at this point that I read about the use of acupuncture and Chinese herbs as infertility treatments. I decided that I had nothing to lose and gave the Hunyuan center a call. After a month and a half, I had light spotting and was encouraged. A little over a month later, I was pregnant. I couldn't believe it was so easy after all that we have been through. I gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl who is one of the most easygoing and happy babies I have ever seen. I would have never thought I will be able to get pregnant. Three years ago I suffered from a stroke. My right side was numb and I suffered a terrible back pains. 2 years of physio didn't help.
Trying to get pregnant of course didn't work either. The doctors kept me on blood thinners that made it very difficult for me to get pregnant. I have started acupuncture and herbal treatment and after four months the back pains were gone and my right side felt as if I had never had a stroke.

Our story is a bit less complex than most of your patients, but surely others can relate. As you know, I faced issues relating to pregnancy as I had a history of miscarriages. After having a third miscarriage, my gynecologist recommended my husband and I make an appointment to discuss infertility options with an infertility clinic. I can't believe that almost a year has passed already since I went to see you for the first time and now the baby is already at home. I remember how desperate I was when I found you after two failed IVFs. My doctor explained to me that it was because I was 40 years old, but you told me that 40 is not too old and you were right. Well, it happened early, really early. My water broke on its own at 6am in the morning and we went to the hospital. The little guy just wanted to come out. Once the real labor started, it went pretty quick… and I did it all without any drugs (I don’t think I’ll ever do that again). J. is doing great…
